HAPPY FEET CHIROPODY
Jennifer is a registered Chiropodist/Podiatrist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) as well as a member of the British Chiropody and Podiatry Association (BCPA) and has been working from her own surgery since 2001. In the past she has carried out domiciliary work, as well as been Chiropodist to several stores including Beales and C&H Fabrics. During the pandemic Jennifer worked with the NHS in a vaccination centre, as well as keeping up with her own patients.
A full assessment of your feet will be carried out prior to any treatment and consideration given to your medical history. Jennifer will then provide general foot care including nail cutting, care and advice for ingrowing & thickened nails and treat skin issues such as corns and callous (hard skin). As well as this she can advise on and treat fungal infections of the skin (Athlete’s Foot) and nails, also verrucae. Jennifer can also give advice on most biomechanical foot matters and offer diabetic foot care.

Jennifer takes her role as a healthcare professional seriously, promoting a healthy lifestyle as she firmly believes in preventative care. Jennifer takes a holistic approach to foot care and will liaise with other health professionals, such as Physiotherapists and GPs where appropriate and with your consent. Jennifer attends regular training courses, workshops and reads podiatry journals to keep up with current ideas and practices in Podiatry and uphold the standards of practice set out by the HCPC to help you get the best possible outcome from her treatment.
